Le Saint Mandé has reopened...
Under new management.
This is a short post just celebrating the re-opening of Le Saint Mandé, a restaurant in the French village of Ferriere-Larçon in the Indre-et-Loire. The previous owner and chef, Marc has now retired from Le Saint Mandé. He was described in a local review in this way - “Le chef, aux fourneaux, au bar, au service et parfois à l'épicerie, est un virtuose.” - “The chef, at the stove, the bar, the service and occasionally serving at the grocery shop, is a virtuoso.” He is going to be a hard act to follow.
The new owner / Chef is Amélie and she has worked with Marc in the restaurant. I’m sure the quality and the welcome will be just as good and we look forward to eating there quite soon.

The Opening took place on Saturday 30th November and our band, “The I Don’t Know Band” was asked to play for the opening evening. We gladly accepted the invitation and look forward to eating there quite soon.

Il s'agit d'un court billet célébrant la réouverture du restaurant Le Saint Mandé, situé dans le village français de Ferrière-Larçon, dans l'Indre-et-Loire. La nouvelle propriétaire / chef est Amélie et elle a travaillé avec Marc dans le restaurant. Je suis sûr que la qualité et l'accueil seront tout aussi bons et nous avons hâte d'y manger très bientôt.

L'ouverture a eu lieu le samedi 30 novembre et notre groupe, « The I Don't Know Band », a été invité à jouer pour la soirée d'ouverture. Nous avons accepté l'invitation avec plaisir et nous nous réjouissons d'y manger bientôt.
